Wildlife Presenter Nick Baker Confirmed for Central America

In April 2019, we will launch our inaugural warm water voyages to Central America on board RCGS Resolute. With new destinations teaming with extraordinary wildlife – Costa Rica alone has over 940 identified species of birds – we are delighted that TV presenter and naturalist, Nick Baker, will share his knowledge of the region, wildlife identification skills and in-depth understanding of the rainforest’s ecosystem with passengers, alongside his family on this Central American adventure.

Constantly intrigued by the world’s ecosystems and their wild inhabitants, Nick enjoys nothing more than chatting about nature’s fascinating peculiarities. Nick notes why he and his family are excited to join OOE onboard these two incredible adventures to Costa Rica, Panama and Central America’s Caribbean coastline:

“My family and I are very excited to be heading to Central America this Spring with One Ocean Expeditions – it’s one of my favourite parts of the world, a biodiversity hotspot, as rich in natural marvels as it is in culture. Combine all the creatures with the creature comforts provided on ship and throw in some great family-friendly activities and you’ve got the perfect adventure holiday for the whole family… and what’s more you can join us!”

Nick will join our Central America Adventure sailing from Costa Rica and through the bucket-list worthy, Panama Canal (23 April – 2 May 2019). From Puerto Caldera on the Costa Rican coast, this 10-day voyage will visit four spectacular national parks including Curu National Wildlife Reserve, Manuel Antonio National Park and Corcovado National Park.  Our small yet supremely comfortable ship provides unprecedented access to the region’s colourful bays, hidden coves and lush rainforests. With Zodiac cruising, sea-kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, hiking and snorkelling activities all available (at no extra charge), there is simply no better way to explore the tropical paradise of Central America.
